You Shouldn't Have to Worry Every Time the Wind Picks Up

You know the tree. The one leaning a little closer to the roof every year, or the one that’s been dead since two summers ago. Every time a Nashville storm rolls through, you’re checking the window.

You’ve probably thought about calling someone. Maybe you put it off because you weren’t sure what it would cost, or you didn’t know which company to trust with something this dangerous.

That’s exactly why AKA Tree Service built its whole process around one promise: making this simple and stress-free for you.

Nashville's Trusted Tree Removal Experts — 15 Years, Zero Shortcuts

AKA Tree Service has been removing Nashville’s most dangerous trees since 2011. We keep 10 ISA Certified Arborists on staff, more than almost any company in Georgia, and we never subcontract. The crew that shows up at your home is our full-time, fully insured team.

For big or precarious trees, we bring the crane. Crane-assisted removal lets us take a tree apart section by section without touching your roof, your fence, or your neighbor’s yard.

Tree Removal Solutions

Our Tree Removal Process

AKA Tree Service follows a structured process to remove trees safely, protect your property, and leave your yard spotless.

Property Evaluation

An ISA Certified Arborist inspects the tree, the terrain, and everything around it (your home, fences, power lines, landscaping) to determine the safest removal method.

Removal Planning

Our crew maps out exactly how the tree will be dismantled and lowered. Large or hard-to-reach trees may call for crane-assisted removal, planned section by section before a single cut is made.

Controlled Tree Removal

Sections of the tree are cut and lowered carefully with rigging or crane support, so nothing swings anywhere near your roof, driveway, or the neighbor's yard.

Debris Cleanup

Every branch, log, and pile of sawdust gets hauled away. Stump grinding is available on request. Your property is clean and safe when we pull out of the driveway.

CUT WITH CONFIDENCE

We set the industry standard when it comes to performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Don't Wait Until That Tree Becomes a $15,000 Emergency

A dead or damaged tree only gets more dangerous and more expensive with time. When one falls on a house, the repair bill routinely runs 5 to 10 times the cost of removal. And insurance companies often deny claims when the homeowner knew about the hazard and did nothing.

Removing it now costs a fraction of the damage it prevents.

Warning Signs — Get a Free Inspection If You Notice:

Dead or hanging branches over your home, car, or driveway
A lean that appeared or got worse after a storm
Cracks, splits, or cavities in the main trunk
Mushrooms or soft spots at the base of the tree
Roots lifting or cracking your driveway or walkway
Branches within 10 feet of power lines

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. During the ice storm of January 2026, I sustained severe and extensive tree damage to my property and home.
Trying to be weary of out of town companies that "flew" into Nashville, TN to assist in the clean up process I chose AKA Tree Service because they have an office in Hermitage. I spoke with Heath H. over the phone and he assured me that this process could happen extremely fast, even given the conditions. (i.e. power lines down around one of the trees as well as sub-freezing temperatures) Within 6 days of the trees coming down, there was a crew at my property removing the tree from my house.

There was some miscommunication that occurred during what I know was a chaotic time and the tree behind the house was not touched. After a few calls, I was in contact with Heath again and he came out to the property and we talked about the issue. He agreed that there was and miscommunication and that the situation would be rectified. True to his word, the problem was corrected and he proved that he and the company are an honorable company.

Long and short of the matter is this; I will need more trees remove from my property in the future and I can say that I WILL be calling this company again!

As a side note, this company remove two 35 - 40 ft. Hackberry trees from the property. One of these from the top of my house and the other was a four trunk monster without any undue damage to the property.

Heath, Thank you and the company for a job done right!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Heath and his team did a great job helping us clean up our yard after the ice storm. They cleanly cut broken limbs, removed a sapling that would damage our foundation overtime, disposed of branches, and cut limbs off our large tree that were hanging over our roof. It felt like an honest fair price as well. I would recommend them to anyone in the Nashville area!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sean was very professional. I called in and left my name and number and with 20 minutes he called me back and then within 24 minutes he was at my house. He walked around and took pictures and saw what needed to be done and he wrote up the proposal before he left my driveway and sent it to me He actually got me down for the next day to get the trees removed because I could not leave my house and I have critical health issues and I already had canceled six appointments that week that I needed to be at so he immediately got it done the very next day so I would be able to go to the hospital if I needed to and the rest of my appointments for my critical health conditions his team came out The very next day They were also very professional and they cleaned up and did a really excellent job. I would recommend them if you’re looking for a professional Tree Service company and does what they say that they will do!
Thank you Sean and your team

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. AKA Tree Services did a great job in removing three large hackberry trees close to and in between our house and our neighbors. We received bids from three groups and chose AKA Tree Services. Before doing so, I checked with four references and received very strong recommendations from the three that replied shortly after I texted. Our AKA contact - Heath H - explained their work, provided proof of insurance, and gave me referrals. He was there in the morning to start the crew and made sure we were comfortable with everything. The crew worked hard and did an excellent job. They were careful with our property and cleaned everything up when finished. I am comfortable to given them a very strong recommendation.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It all began with the very professional estimate. Chandler provided an estimate that was not only clear and easy to read but included there license and insurance. There's an old saying you get what you pay for and we most definitely got that. If you're looking for a guy with a ladder and saw this is not for you. They were not the cheapest quote for sure, but if you want it done right and on time this is the company I would highly recommend

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Beni came out and gave an estimate for this huge hack berry tree that was hanging over the roof. The crew came out within a couple of days and finished it all in one day. They also cleaned up all the huge branches. The gutter got a bit bent from the ladders but they were out the next day to fix it! Will definitely be using their services for any future tree needs.

Questions Nashville Homeowners Always Ask Us

We hear these every day, so here are straight answers.

How much does tree removal cost in Nashville?

Most residential removals in metro Nashville run $500–$2,500+ depending on the tree’s size, location, and how hard it is to reach. Big trees near structures may need crane work, which we’ll price clearly upfront. Every job starts with a free written estimate, so you’ll know the exact number before we touch a branch.

Are you licensed and insured?

Fully. AKA Tree Service carries general liability and full workers’ compensation coverage, and we never subcontract, so the insured crew on your property is our crew. You’re completely protected.

Do you offer emergency or same-day service?

Yes, 24/7, including weekends and holidays. Storm damage and hazardous trees can’t wait. Call (404) 713-4305 and we’ll get to you as fast as humanly possible.

Can you help with my insurance claim after storm damage?

Yes. We work directly with insurance companies on storm damage claims, which takes a huge headache off your plate during an already stressful time.

Will you clean up the debris when you're done?

Always. We haul away every branch and every log and leave your property cleaner than we found it. Stump grinding is available too, just ask.

Do I need a permit to remove a tree in Nashville?

It depends on your city and the tree. Nashville proper has a tree ordinance; many surrounding cities don’t require permits for hazardous trees. We’ll tell you exactly what applies during your free estimate and handle the paperwork if a permit is needed.

How long does removal take?

Most residential removals are done in a single day, even large crane jobs. You’ll get an honest timeline during your on-site estimate.

What happens to the stump?

Your call. We can grind it below grade so you can plant grass over it, or leave it if you prefer. Leftover stumps attract termites and ants, so most homeowners have us grind them while we’re there.

Ready to Stop Worrying About That Tree?

AKA Tree Service makes it simple. One call, one free estimate, zero pressure. Join thousands of Nashville homeowners who finally got it handled.

No obligation. Upfront written pricing. If you’re not completely happy with our work, we’ll make it right. Period.
